How does Windows know to set daylight savings time even though PC is not connected to Internet? -

i have pc hasn't been connected internet years , did not have windows updates years well, how pc know set clock forward/backward 1 hour? thanks.

from wikipedia: of united states , canada observe dst second sunday in march first sunday in november.

similar rules in place in europe. when set windows pc, tell live, , calculates daylight savings based on date. regardless of whether or not you're connected internet, first sunday in november first sunday in november.
